If you’d like to come to reunion, but are concerned about the cost of housing in New York, here is some help. Everyone knows about the fancy, well known, and expensive hotels of New York. Other options exist that some of us have used, a few are around $150/night.
B&B
There are a group of lovely houses in the Ditmas Park area of Brooklyn that are near the subway and about 1 ½ miles from Midwood. They can be around $150/night.

Comfort Inn Central Park West, 31 West 71 St. Senior rate is $270/night on weekend with taxes. There is a nonrefundable advance purchase rate that is about $70/night less.

Comfort Inn Chelsea, 18 West 25th St. Senior rate $270/night on weekend with taxes. There is a nonrefundable advance purchase rate that is about $70/night less.
There are a bunch of new hotels in Brooklyn. For example there is the
Holiday Inn Express in Park Slope, 625 Union Street. Senior rate is $200/night without tax
